No more lamp shade!!!
I just brought Leyna to the vet and he took out her stitches, so no more collar! My house has been in shambles because she had no peripheral vision and would knock everything over, but no more!!! She also can start playing with her friends and start hiking in a few days, which we have both sorely missed.

I’m so glad her recovery is going well, but she looks terribly skinny… Aren’t you feeding her? ; ) Her ears are just the cutest! Can’t wait to meet her in person!

Not sure if Lenya looks happy or not. But she defintely has a “lean and hungry look”. Don’t you feed her anymore? Bring her north and I’ll fatten her up.

We know she is not 100% German Shepherd, but now we know what the mix is – rabbit! If she ever grows into her ears, she will be HUGE! Alice is back under 30 lbs. so the vet is very pleased – just 5 more to go and he will be ecstatic. Maybe we should trade dogs for a while – you could trim Alice down and we’d turn Leyna into a chunk.
